Review on short film “Washland Express” - by Camille Campbell
The whole film takes place in a self-serve car wash, as a young doctor is approached by a man who wants to ride along. He says he needs to do quality assurance on the wash process, so she begrudgingly consents. However, his intimate and chatty behaviour initially puts the woman into an edge. The lady talks about his past relationship and her life, and the guy also lure her into his trap. The young doctor fall for the guy and kissed him because she thinks they have things in common to share after she mentioned her favorite kettle corn and the man also loves it too. After the kissed, the man then robbed the young nurse by asking the wallet and phone because that's what he came for not for love. The lady got furious and try to yell but because of the noise inside the serve-wash booth, no one could hear her. The man took what he wanted and, on his way, out the knocked him down as a revenge but at the end the man became her personal lover who does car washer in her house.
Conclusion: A young doctor who had a connection with a car wash employee who rides along with her through an express car wash. Entranced by the bubbles and flashing lights, they begin to fall for each other, but as the wash ends, things take a dark turn.
